Pink Sugar recently launched their own makeup line which currently includes eyeshadow palettes, lipsticks, bb cream and concealer, powder blush, face powder and eye liner. This review is for the Eye Candy Eyeshadow Palettes 1 and 2.
The Pink Sugar Eye Candy Eyeshadow Palette comes in very sturdy and sleek black packaging made of plastic that snaps shut. It also has a large mirror and a dual-ended brush inside which comes in handy especially when travelling.
Both palette contains a total of 10 eyeshadow pans ― 4 matte and 6 shimmer shades. All the eyeshadows in both palettes are very pigmented and easy to blend. Even the matte shades which is very rare especially when it comes to local cosmetic brands. As for the texture, I have noticed that they are not all the same. Some are buttery soft while some of them feels a little bit dry to the touch but nonetheless, they all still perform and apply really well. I also did experience a little bit of fall-out with most of the shades, but it's not the kind of fall-out that clings to the skin ― you can brush it off easily with a fluffy brush.
Overall, I do love both these palettes and I highly recommend them to everyone. If you are the kind of person who loves fun and bright colors I'd highly recommend EC-01 but if you are into earthy and classic colors, EC-02 is the perfect palette for you. You can also just get both because honestly, both of them are worth every single peso.
